VERMONT COMMON CRACK
Made in Vermont since 1828. No artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. The Vermont Common Cracker has changed very little in the past 180 years. Often seen piled high in oak barrels in classic country stores like our own, The Vermont Country Store. Our grandfather, Vrest Orton, was most proud of the timeless simplicity of these crackers and how well they accompanied just about anything in his pantry. We are 8th generation Vermonters and, for years, have heard stories of how our ancestors would eat Common Crackers split and toasted with butter or simply crumbled into a bowl of fresh milk. The Green Mountains are still alive with folklore about Common Crackers, and we are honored to pass on this fine tradition to future generations near and far. Although we no longer power our century-old cracker machine with a horse, the rest of the Common Crackers has stayed the same. We like it that way and hope that you will too. Enjoy with Vermont cheddar cheese, any other cheese, preserves, jams and jellies, spreads, soups and chowders or as a great simple snack on their own. No hydrogenated oils. No trans fats.
