2 Ingredient Yogurt Bagels with Garlic & Herb Spread

2 Ingredient yogurt bagel

  • 1 ¾ cups self-rising flour
  • 1 ½ cup FAGE Best Self 0% Lactose Free yogurt

Topping:

  • 1 egg
  • Everything bagel seasoning

Garlic-herb Spread

  • 1 cup Fage Best Self 0% Lactose Free Yogurt
  • ¼ teaspoon Garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried Thyme
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour and yogurt. Mix well with a wooden spoon. Once dough comes together, begin forming the dough into a ball using your hands.
  3. Lightly flour a clean kitchen counter, kneed dough until dough becomes elastic.
  4. Form a ball and cut dough into 6 equal parts.
  5. Roll each piece into a ball, press your thumb through the middle to create a hole. Place formed bagel on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. In a small bowl, beat the egg with a teaspoon of water and brush each bagel with egg wash. Sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.
  7. Bake for 20-24 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before enjoying them.
  8. For the Spread: Place yogurt in a bowl and stir with a wire whisk. Add in herbs and spices, mix well.
  9. Stir in olive oil and lemon juice, refrigerate until ready to serve.
